Is there a Theme or Block selection that will allow me to show one most recent post for each of the five or six sub pages or categorises. It would spread across the top of the page. Sort of like a visual image for each menu option.

Hi,
I’m not sure exactly how you want to show one latest post, but for each page you can set a homepage post element like so: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/homepage-one-top-post/ or use any other block you prefere and set the post limit to 1 from the block settings
