I bought this theme because is was rated a bets seller with a great page builder. I’m using the Italy Report Pro template. It is ridiculously hard to customize and standardize areas in this template that should be easy to do.
I can’t set a default font sitewide for my headers or the default font. It’s very hard to make customizations using CSS because every element is handled independently.
It’s should’ve take me a few hours to setup a news site. Instead, I’ve been at it for 6-8 hours and I’m not even close o being finished.
The documentation is virtually useless and the support forums help very little. I’m close to asking for my money back.
I could’ve used Avada and been up and running in no time.

But newspaper theme is very tricky because the functions are
For example, when you use WPML to translate theme option, you actually cannot set it in theme panel, or just set it in website manager when it comes to single post/ search/ etc. You need to use string translation. There is no instruction on this on documentations to tell you beforehand. It is normal users to think that cloud templates are automatically connected to the header and footer of their respective languages.
For the header live search, you must use directory to show languages. If you use /?lang=*, search results will only be shown in default language. I took hours to search posts but could not find this answer.
I spent 3 weeks to learn and use Newspaper theme to build my website, with many overnights to investigate all these mentioned above.
Refund will just waste all my efforts. I have no way back but just keep on 🙁
Jaco, you’re right. I have so much time invested that I had no choice but to keep going. It’s just very frustrating as their are so many areas where they could’ve really simplified the themes use and cut down on the purchaser’s learning curve. Something simple like setting a default font can’t be done within the Theme Panel or on the templates. Oh well. Good luck with your site.

The Italy Report PRO demo use cloud templates, therefore the theme panel settings will not affect the cloud templates from tagDiv Cloud Library, these need to be edited using tagDiv Composer, for example to edit the single post template, you need to do like this -> https://i.imgur.com/g3wfeBE.png click on share elements (ore the element you want to change) and change the style -> https://i.imgur.com/LZIAMNn.pngn also you ca use the right click to delete elements or copy the style or element.
