The thumbnail and excerpt that usually appear when you post a link on Facebook are not displaying. I was advised that it was a theme issue. All of the Newspaper theme sites are having this issue and none of the non-Newspaper themes have having this issue. Are you planning an update to fix this problem or can you recommend a plugin to resolve the issue?

We do have reports of this issue but we are not seeing it on our end on sites that do not have seo yoast. if we use soe yoast on our testing sites, the facebook share works properly. On our demo for the moment there is no seo yoast active as we just updated the demos and we did not enable it yet. We will look into this matter and see if we find anything but for the moment it works as expected for us where there is yoast enabled and the og image enabled.

I set up SEO Yaoast plugin and gave it a while to take effect, but the links are still not bringing up images and excerpts.

so I think it;s safe to say there is some external influence over the facebook sharing. We have not been able to figure our out what affects it unfortunately. Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and investigate
