I am going to make a new newspaper website but I need a function that I don’t find right now at this theme: Flexibility with the article thumbnails.
What I need is that the journalist that is writing the article has the chance of chose weather the article has a thumbnail or not. If not, the thumbnail place should not exist on the block.
Is there any way to achieve this? See here in this Swedish newspaper: http://www.dn.se/ Some news on the feed don’t have a thumb. Those news’ headline take the whole width of the container.
How can I achieve this? This is really important!!

This is a complex task and unfortunately I can’t provide a solution now. However if for some posts you don’t want to use a featured image you could add them in a specific category, then use one of our block which don’t display the featured image, to display them.
Here is an example:
-post named Post 1, Post 2, Post 3 don’t have feature image.
-add this posts in a specific category like No Image category
-use one of block 9 or block 10 to display this posts and select from block settings the “No Image” category.
If you need a different implementation for this my advice is to hire a freelancer to do this for you as we can’t offer custom modifications services at the moment.
