Hi,
I assume this needs extra coding, but I need for a type of posts a Portrait format thumbnails (because these are book-covers), is it possible to add a portrait thumbnail size for blocks? It would be great to know at least how much effort this needs to be done.

Hi,
You can use the theme api to create a new thumbnail: https://forum.tagdiv.com/td_api_thumbadd/ and then you need to replace the existing thumb size for a specific post template: http://screencast.com/t/aNsBFvws7hk
This will require a bit of coding knowledge though.
