Please check your Theme panel->Block settings and there you will see all the required size for your featured images in order to achieve best results in theme, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/wEDhmOS6t
Unfortunately, we do not recommend to increase the width of these Blocks because you should damage the theme layout. Notice that is not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
