- Never use a child theme
- Always use TDComposer
- Here is how you can achieve each and any look with TD Composer that you previously used to do in CSS
I can never find it all in TD Composer, far too clicky.

As mentioned on other topics, TagDiv Composer is a page builder created by our team for our Theme. We are focusing on developing that and that is why we do recommend it.
You can use a child theme but nowadays the Newspaper theme has so many options that you can insert the custom code directly in theme panel.
