My timezone is UTC+2. I checked it on WordPress and in the PHP timezone. It’s ok Europe/Madrid.

But in the article published time meta, the hour is wrong.

I checked that this happens it at least 2 different websites with Newspaper theme updated to the last version. In differtent hostings and with only the TagDiv plugins in common.

Do you know that is this a bug? or a fail with any plugin/wordpress configuration?

Sorry but we cannot re-create this on our end. The published date in the meta info matches the one in WP. MAybe ou have a custom implementation on your date/time. Please make sure ou set correnct time and date in wp like mentioned here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Formatting_Date_and_Time
Please also test in a wp default theme and see if the date is the same in the meta.

Thank you!

Hello, Adrian e Bogdan

this problem is collective. I’m also having the same error – and this is a flaw in the theme – the time zone does not work, causing a terrible error when indexing and delivering our news in Google News. I look forward to a return to solution. thanks

In the Google forum – the information is that the error part of the application – theme.

“As a user I see the date of publication, but I did not find the time.

I see datetime = “2019-04-12T07: 50: 18 + 00: 00″ in the code of your page, if I am not mistaken, this corresponds to three and fifty in the morning. ”

The time zone for Recife, Fortaleza and São Paulo – do not work. Changing to UTC -3 – also appears as erratic. In that case -3 would regularize and deliver our news within the correct time zone of my region.

Imagine I publish a story now – and the code presented 13 hours ago – 3 hours ago. For search engines and Google News – this becomes irrelevant.
