Hello, I’m new in blogging world and I recently bumped into a problem. Newsmag theme always shows all the posts I had wrote. How could make it show only 2 latest posts on the home page?

You can set the post limit for the latest article section on page from post loop settings like here: http://screencast.com/t/Hd1SNfQklZr
