Top/Bottom Articles sharing/like social icons not showing up on Newspaper v9.7

Hi, I have updated my Newspaper theme to v9.7 today successfully. Installed through the ‘Envato Market WP plugins’ but I have a problem. After the update, the Top/Bottom articles sharing/like social icons not showing up anymore even though I’ve enabled them. It was working fine before the update. Does anyone else having the same problem? Do you know how to fix it? Please help me. Thank you in advance.

Having the same issue, tried, deactivating the plugin and reactivating it, disable, enable, clear Cache, still not showing up.

Hi Kevin, I have found a solution here posted by someone called Viju. ‘You can fix by going in theme panel/post settings/default post template/ now change style 1 or any other because default style will not work.
I have fixed my one for now but I just don’t like the layout though. The default layout was great. I hope this will help fix your problem. Thanks

Not an ideal fix, but will have to do until a work around or a fix comes out.

Thanks Calin for the reply. I am not sure If I want to update to 9.7.1 because I am just worried If I do, it might crash the site.
