Totally deactivating category tag on specific blocks

Hi, I would like to know if there’s an easy way to totally deactivate the category tags on SPECIFIC blocks/modules.

Or a hint where I should look at?

The theme options seem to only hide them, I would like – for some specific block numbers – to totally deactive them and prevent any category link URL to be created in the code.

I know it seems a bit like custom work (which you don’t do here), but any guidance as to where to look at to achieve this (if possible) would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

The category tag can be disable for the modules you want in Theme panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/zpOqOwiOfR and that removes the tag from being loaded. If you want to remove this from the code you have to edit each of the respective modules – https://www.screencast.com/t/Y9HIbSu6B and remove the category tag from being loaded manually from there.
