Tracking Code

Hi Guys,

We need to be able to place some tracking code before the closing body tag of our site rvdaily.com.au but seem unable to do this.

We are using a child theme and have placed the code in the footer.php file in the main theme however this will not be inherited to the child theme.

Can you please advise how we can place our tracking code before the closing body tag on both the main and mobile sites.

If you’re using mobile theme you need to place the tracking code in footer.php file from mobile folder: http://screencast.com/t/bIKavPks

I have no cache plugin running and cannot understand why this will not work.

Your code is added in page’s source even on mobile devices, please check this screen: http://screencast.com/t/RpR1CN0d however the theme can’t control its functionality. The theme only insert your code in page source and that’s it, no other action are made.

Is this in the regular sites source as well, as i cannot set it there.

The issue was always both mobile and desktop sites.

Hi Andrei,

I am so sorry to keep this going but on our end, using Chrome on MacOS, we cannot see the script.

I can however see this using Safari on the same computers. Weird!

What could be wrong with this?
