Hi,
I tried to change translations as described in the steps below but those changes didn’t take any effect and the web site stil lshows phrases in english and not in the new translated language.
Can you suggest how to proceed to translate successfully.

1. Theme Panel
2. Translations
3. Load available translation
4. Choose language, Estonian
5. Load translation, Yes
6. Translations section translation pairs in 2 columns, for example: Home=Avaleht, EXCLUSIVE=EKSKLUSIIVNE, etc.
7. Go to your WordPress Newspaper web site and see that there is still phrases Home and EXCLUSIVE instead of the translation words “Avaleht” and “EKSKLUSIIVNE”.

Looks like some translations work and some not. The main menu item “Home” stayes always in English for example, it doesn’t get translated. I think i should translate inside menu builder somewhere and in other places the other phrases.

Also when i tried other languages like Russian then 99% of the Theme appearance stays in english. Maybe it is needed to do “cache clearing” etc to make translations work?

You can translate them from Theme Panel -> Translations -> Translations -> https://i.imgur.com/ezhjmLq.png and on the elements where the translation does not apply
you need to edit the pages/templates with tagDiv Composer for the blocks or other elements to change the translation.
Also, for the menu, please go to Appearances -> menus and check the menu there; maybe you didn’t change the page’s name.
Also, the theme options cannot be translated.

Thank you!

Translations via “Theme Panel -> Translations” seems a useless feature because 90+ % of the web surface site ignores the translations done there. You advertise that your translation modul works well but that is a lie. In your translation tutorial video people see web sites fully translated with no English phrase visible, but the reality is that the translation modul does not do it.

You suggest to “translate” by manually changing elements etc. Will such translations stay after a software version update or not? If not, then one must manually do hours of translations after your every update.

Hi,

Are you sure that all the words are translated? The translation does not apply to all, and you need to set your translation for them.
The translation will remain after the update.

Thank you!

Hi,

The translation will stay after the theme update. But also, it is recommended to do a full backup to all files before the update.

Thank you!
