I’m experiencing an issue where the Translations feature is not working as expected.
Below are the steps and symptoms I have observed:

1. Go to Newspaper → Theme Panel.
2. Click on TRANSLATIONS under the MISC tab.
3. Open the “Load an available translation” section.
4. Select Vietnamese from the dropdown and click the “Load Translation” button.
5. The input fields under Translations are filled with Vietnamese text.
6. After clicking the “SAVE SETTINGS” button, the loading animation appears and never finishes.

Note:
I have tried several other languages besides Vietnamese, but the result is the same — the save process never completes.
I am currently using WordPress version 6.8.1 and Newspaper theme version 12.7.1.
I have checked the error logs on the server, but nothing relevant has been recorded.
However, since I’m not very familiar with WordPress, I might have missed something.

Please check if you are making the change in the theme panel the same button is in the same situation? If so is possible to have something that is blocking the theme, for this you’ll need to use the browser inspector.

Thank you very much for your response and support.
I also appreciate your advice about checking the browser inspector — that was really helpful.
When I looked into it, I found that access to “/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?td_theme_name=Newspaper&v=12.7.1” was returning a 403 error.
After some investigation, it turned out that the request was being blocked by the hosting provider’s WAF settings.
I’m sorry for the trouble caused due to my lack of initial investigation.
