Trending and show unique articles

Hello,

I enable the “show only articles on this template” feature but how can I exclude the “trending now” articles from it ? Otherwise, the most important articles are less visible…

You can use the categories filter or offset depending on your needs. Please provide more details about this and your site’s URL.

Yeah i agree with lulu1984, i just would like to understand what should be the purpose for the trending now bar, which is cool but if it is treding then it must be visible…

is it possible maybe to associate it to something like “most viewed articles”? That would sound enough trending and would not always affect the latest posts to burn their visibility

Hi,

You can also used it like that by setting a sport order for it like “popular (all time)” or “highest rated” : http://screencast.com/t/rjwL48nRwlP
We will also consider changing it’s functionality and set it as the posts added there don’t affect the unique articles feature on page.
