Please notice that Trending Now is a simple element which can be added to your page from Visual Composer or our page builder. Do you are referring to this element, right?

Do you not have the Trending Now element in Visual Composer like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/3l82YbBMkL? If not, I suggest you make a full backup to your database and then you should remove the old version and install the latest theme version which can be downloaded from Theme Forest. Ensure that update will be made via FTP way because this is the surest theme method in this regard.
