I was wondering if there is a code I could use to change the speed of the trending now ticker. It seems to move a little too fast.
Also is there any way I can change the ‘more from author” that are on the posts to “more from contributor”. I have a contributor taxonomy that I use to tag each of my articles with the respective contributors.

There is not option to change the speed of news ticker from settings, you will have to change it from the code – http://screencast.com/t/eq1ubcdsps
You can translate “More from author” in Theme Panel > Translations – http://screencast.com/t/1di6RClnq8QR but you will need custom modifications if you want to display another articles in that section, unfortunately we cannot provide custom work at this time as we are working hard on the development, updates, fixes and support.
