You can see there are 5 components: a title, text below it, an image, another title (called “longer explanations”) and another text below it.
I am able to edit title, text below, and image (items 1-3). I am not able to edit items 4&5. Can someone explain how I can edit these?
I went to the post editor. in it, items 4&5 did not show up. I went to Tagdiv editor. Items 1-5 did show up, but were not editable (e.g. i couldnt click into the text and type stuff)

The post excerpt itself isn’t added in the post template, the template only displays it. Now for the individual blog page… not the template… the individual blog page… I see this under “Edit post” https://snipboard.io/j7Yymp.jpg
So.. how do I edit #1-5? for the individual blog pages, not the template 🙂

I click the 3 dot drop down and have 3 options.

The goal is to be able to edit the content on each blog page one by one by replacing it so it is custom-specific to the page, e.g. hows stars twinkle i want to edit items 1-5 from my last reply, for why the sky is blue i want to edit items 1-5, etc.
I want to keep the template the same. I want all blog pages to pre-load with items 1-5. Then I want to be able to custom-specific edit each blog pages so the dummy content is removed with actual content.

So when you edit the template with the composer -> https://snipboard.io/gVZr6d.jpg is it not possible to click on each individual element? That should be possible.
I will explain how the template works to avoid any misunderstandings. The composer is not a post builder, it is a template builder. So the template of the post is built with it. A website usually uses one post template, so what you add in it is used for all the posts.
In the composer you are just displaying the information of the post. For example to display the post title -> https://prnt.sc/dlEIlSYZFyD- you add the title placeholder -> https://prnt.sc/UQOeezRlKBrO
Or to display the featured image -> https://prnt.sc/z6DxscJ7kE1I you add the featured image placeholder -> https://prnt.sc/0xDt3OTMbGf6
And so on. So these placeholders automatically display the information from the posts.
Right now your template contains those 5 elements. If you create a new post and view it, it will also display those 5 elements, but with the information from the new post, so different title, featured image, etc.
After making the post template display what you want and designing it how you want, you won’t be working with it at all from then on. You can just focus on creating the posts themselves.
In case there is a problem while editing the post template with the composer, I can take a look at it to try and find the cause. I appreciate all the time you have invested into trying to help me. It would only take mere minutes if we could do a video screenshare call. I still am quite confused. I can try to explain what is confusing, etc. in reply-text format if you would like, but are you first open to a video screenshare call?
We can’t provide support via video calls unfortunately.
The matter with the templates shouldn’t be difficult. Everything in wordpress uses templates, posts, categories, tags, etc. The templates are design basically, not content. I can try to clarify further but there isn’t much more that can be said about a post template. A post template simply displays the post you create in wordpress.
But please explain what is confusing about it, and I’ll try my best to help. Maybe it would be best to discuss it like this, you mention what you want to do with practical examples, and I provide ways to do that, or the way it is usually done.
We could also move the discussion to email if you want, especially if there are problems with the theme or the composer. I believe you mentioned some issues in the composer while editing the post template. Or maybe I misunderstood that, sorry if I did.

Thank you for your persistence. I will record a video of what I am seeing tomorrow and send an email to chat via email.
After a couple hours of troubleshooting, I have figured it out. There will be more issues to get a hang of, so let’s stay in touch! I’ll record a video explaining it, so it is easier to understand. Basically for now I am manually changing the content on each post, but I want the global template to load the content in advance–at least, the placeholder blocks, such as the general theme you see here: http://everydayexplanations.com/how-touchscreens-work/
I would want the global template to basically pre-load the title, content block, image 1, h4 block, and image 2. This way I don’t have to type into the post editor each of those items. For now, at least it pre-loads the title for me. The rest I have to do manual.
To further clarify: the goal is for each post to be unique for all the items I mentioned. I just want the placeholder blocks–the items–to all load up when I create a new post.
That’s great news. Please don’t worry about it, after some practice everything will be much easier and clearer.
The posts should indeed be unique.
And that’s exactly what a post template does, it loads the post information and displays it. So right now the post template contains the post title placeholder and the post content placeholder. All the posts that use that template will display their title and their content.
You can add more things in the template if you want, or create a sidebar. You could check the post templates from our cloud library -> https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single Any of those can be imported on the website.

See the thin line in the header area? Between the logo image and the paragraph there is a thin grey line. I tried editing the element “text with title” but it kept that thin line
It only appears on mobile vertical
I see it. It seems to be a border bottom set on the top row, the one containing the logo. Do you want to remove it from there?
If so, then in the composer please click on the row containing the logo and check in the CSS tab -> https://prnt.sc/KLf68zcFmWMx If there is a 1 set there in the border bottom box, remove it and the border should be gone.
