HI I purchased NEwspaper and have been somewhat happy with it however I have few issues. When I try to switch off newspaper my site looks like code
How do I fix this?
Also my sites logos all have some other text next to it like black pro or amber light
what is the process for fixing this

Hello !
Well, if you switch off Newspaper Theme with its plugins it will look like that because all the blocks that you have will no longer be rendered. The blocks are created by the tagDiv Composer plugin and only it will render them.
You will have to remove everything created with tagDiv Compose / Newspaper Theme in order to safely remove it.
