Turn off Meta Information for Individual Posts

Is there any way to remove the meta information from individual posts (not site-wide)?

Yoast WordPress SEO plugin can do all this…

This topic is at least 1 year old and the method does not work anymore as the code was changed from then. The meta can be found here: http://screencast.com/t/ZR5Z4sOtMv. Remove that code to remove the author meta.
