Twitter & other Embbeded code prevents ad banner from displaying inline

Hello,

We have an inline ad banner setup at the 2nd paragraph of the articles.

Whenever we embbed a Twitter code, the inline ad banner disappears, no longer shows. This is happening on mobile only from what I can tell.

The following link WORKS just fine. The 300×250 box shows at the 2nd paragraph or so. This post has no Tweet embbeded.

This post has a tweet embbeded to it and the ad does not display on mobile.

Hello adamuiowa,

I have checked your website and I saw that you are not using the latest version of the theme. Please try to update it (Newspaper 7.3) with the Visual Composer (4.12), clear all your caches and test it again. Also, I have noticed that you are using the mobile theme plugin for your mobile mode and that’s why the embed code from Twitter is not working. Please try the theme without mobile theme plugin, only with default mobile mode and check the results. As you can see, the mobile plugin has very basic structure, it is too sensible and it has been designed to be very fast, clean and easy to use.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello Catalin,

The Twitter code is working. It just prevents the ad banner from loading inline.

It’s not only Twitter code. ANY embedded code, youtube or other, once the code is pasted in the article, it makes the inline ad code disappear.

This was happening prior to the updates being released. But we will do the updates this weekend.

Thanks

Hi Catalin,

The inline ads do NOT work when a Twitter or Youtube embbeded code is added to the article.

Here is the perfect example:

http://www.wrestleview.com/screenshot1.png
As you can see, this one has the Twitter embedded comment, the ad banner does not show.

I removed the Twitter embbed, and the ad banner shows.

Here is the link to the actual article. This one has the Twitter embbed, but the banner does not show.

This is happening on Mobile and Desktop.

Thanks
