Twitter share saying “Don’t miss any updates from Nathan Fox”. For example here:
http://sportwitness.co.uk/bilbao-man-city-pay-laporte-release-clause-next-week/
The site is Sport Witness so who is Nathan Fox and how do I change this?
Thanks,
David
Hi
The theme does not control the information displayed by twitter sharer. Also I’ve checked the indicated post and didn’t found any issue with the share: http://screencast.com/t/h0RcebERlV
Thanks!
Thats because you are logged into twitter. If you are not logged in you see this:

Hi
I a not sure why this happens on your site as the theme can’t control that information. Usually there should be displayed site’s title but on the indicated link that is not the case. Also the name Nathan Fox does not appears in page source anywhere.
Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test again. Also you can try to make a test using only WordPress, the theme and Visual Composer plugin on a sub-domain then test the share there.
Thanks!
check the settings for the twitter account you put in the “social network” section of the theme panel
in my case the information appearing below the twitter box refers to the account I put in the twitter field of that section
The issue is caused by not having anything in the ‘twitter username’ for Post settings > Sharing. I still have no idea why it defaults to Nathan Fox if none is entered.
Thanks,
David
Hi Andrei,
Sorry my last message was not clear. The issue has been solved by adding in the correct twitter name in the post settings > Sharing.
Thanks,
David
