twitter sharing issue

when i try to share in twitter image is not showing, but with the same post when i try to share the image is showing with fb post, what is the issue i face here

Check your meta data to make sure you have proper twitter and open graph tags in place. Test one of your posts with the Twitter developer checker.

my meta tags are not showing for twitter, but for facebook it working properly for the facebook also there are no meta tags available. And im a developer also so please give me a detail explanation where/what should i do the changes to over come this problem

You need to add twitter tags for twitter to work properly.
How are you adding your Twitter and Open Graph (OG) tags?

many folks use free version of Yoast SEO or similar.
