I’m having problems posting our Newspaper themed wordpress posts to Twitter. The pictures won’t load on Twitter. We initially thought it was the Jetpack we are using, then host but after exhausting every test it appears it is actually being blocked by our Newspaper theme. It works fine when we take the newspaper theme off.
We tested using Twitter’s Card Validator tool here:
https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator
When inputting any of our example URLs with the newspaper theme on, the validator fails with a HTTP Timeout error. Anyone any ideas?

We did install SEO Yoast plugin and it still didn’t work. The problem is in the 4 newspaper theme plugins. It works if we revert back to normal theme. As soon as we add the newspaper theme something breaks and it stops properly posting to Twitter.
