I’m having an issue embedding tweets in the Newspaper theme. The tweet shows as a blockquote instead of the standard Twitter styling. Also, wherever the tweet is embedded, the rest of the post content below it stays in the blockquote.
I have embedded a tweet in an old post for reference. The text that reads “It’s official I’m a DAWG for LIFE! is the tweet and everything below that is part of my post.

I have tested your code with your tweet link and for some reason it’s stops working and after refreshing the page, seems like this happens only with your tweet link http://screencast.com/t/uJojBdOza4EU I have tried using other tweet link and works fine every time you refresh the page, also tested on a default WordPress theme and seems like the issue is there too so I don’t know why but the tweet link isn’t good or there is a problem with the embed http://screencast.com/t/ei53KoDHJ
You could try to solve this using a plugin to embed the tweet or search the web and try to find other ways you can embed it in your post.

Thanks, looks like you are right. Looking at that particular tweet, it has emoticons at the end of it. I guess WordPress doesn’t handle them correctly.
