1) Sorry but revolution slider cannot replace the menu from our theme. We have no solution to provide in this regard as you will need customization services to get it done which we cannot provide. Sorry.
2)You can remove the top padding on any page based on the page id. On the homepage you can use this code:
.page-id-8904 .td-main-page-wrap{
padding-top: 10px;
}

If is useful for you, please try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Cusotm CSS area the main menu will be hidden. Another basic way does not exist in this regard.
