I have multisite installation with one of the page working fine with Newspaper theme. This site works at main address (domain.com).
I wanted to create other site, with different Newspaper instance: xxx.domain.com (will buy another licence, etc.). Is it going to work? What kind of problems I could expect? I am going to install newspaper with different name under themes.

Normally, the Envato policy allows using a theme only on one install. You can, however, use the theme on a sub-domain if you plan on creating a testing site, but if we are talking about totally different sites with different content, then only one theme per install is legally allowed: http://screencast.com/t/NqzloVgyUJB. In your case, it does not necessary to buy another license because it is the same project but in another language, right?

no, this would be another project for the same organization (first instance of Newspaper is organization’s website, another would be organization’s magazine), within one multisite installation. If it is not allowed, I need look for different theme then.

If it’s the same organisation, it’s like having different menu items in the same website. You can use the theme on both sites as they are part of the same main project.
