Hi,
The creator of this plugin has offered to install it on my site but says I would be best to create a child theme first.
Can you please explain how I can create a child theme since I have already installed the main Newspaper theme so don’t know how to install the child theme after this.

I think you just need to upload the child theme from the main installer files (the big all files download from Theme Forest); and then go to the appearance settings and then “activate” the child theme. Make sure the child theme is the SAME VERSION of the main theme, however!
