Unable to create single post templates

I am working on a newspaper’s website. I created the homepage and category templates using Cloud Templates. I’m trying to create a template for single posts using Cloud Template. However, even after creating a template and saving it, the created template does not show up for pages. If you see the list in the image, the new template does not have a time unlike the others.

Also, when I close the template (after saving it), I receive an error – Page not found.

I’ve tried several different single page templates but same result.

Please advise as I need to submit the site asap.

To clarify, I’m running theme ver 10.3.6 (theme and database) and all server config as per the theme requirements (green signals for all parameters).
