I am using “DEFAULT PRO” pre-build website for the base of my website.
Inside the Cloud Templates -> “Single Post Template – Default Pro”, I have updated the sidebar’s Filter -> “Category filter” into “Category – Current category”.
However, in my website, in the Single Post, the sidebar is not able to show the current categry posts but it is showing other category post. My post only have 1 category for each post and I have checked to ensure there is no multiple post.
Is there a bug related to Newspaper theme?

In the link above, the category of the post is “Music”, but the sidebar and the “Related Post” (at the bottom of the post) are showing post from a different category named “World News”.

I think that you are referring to the “Special Filters” -> https://i.imgur.com/MEao7eP.png those filters need to be use in specify places, for example the “Category – Current category” can be use only on cloud templates, the “Single -….” only on single post template from cloud and the “Author – Current author” can be used only on author cloud templates. That it is way was not apply for you, because you tried to use a filter from a cloud template in a single post templates from cloud.

I am not sure I don’t understand what you mean. How does the “Category – Current category” in the Cloud Template – Single Post template used?
Apart from that, is there anyway to have the side bar to show Posts of the same category as the current Single Post category? If yes, can you recommend how it can be done?

If you are using “Category – Current category” it will render the post from the category that your post is in. If you want to render posts from other categories you will have to select the desired category. What you have to do is select your sidebar element, go to filters and select the category you want to pull posts from: https://www.screencast.com/t/QAevqoRu

That is what I was asking. When I select “Category – Current category”, I am expecting it would render the post from the category of my post, but it is not showing the post from my post category. That is why I am asking whether is there a bug. You can goto the link of the website, you will notice the “Category – Current category” is not working. Can you help to check this?
