We are using woocommerce with newspaper and need to eliminate breadcrumbs.
However even after turning off breadcrumbs in the Newspaper settings, the breadcrumbs can still be seen loading:

Yoast SEO also has breadcrumbs disabled to make sure this wasn’t caused by a conflict and we have followed the instructions here to remove the woocommerce default breadcrumbs: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/customise-the-woocommerce-breadcrumb/
However we are still unable to get rid of the breadcrumbs, and an inspection seems to link the breadcrumb to Newspaper somehow, even though the setting has been turned off and breadcrumbs do not appear anywhere else on the website.

Hi,
The theme panel breadcrumb settings do not apply to the woocommerce pages. To remove the breadcrumbs you could edit the template file

Comment and remove them there and they will not appear in the single product page.
