Unable to link to Social networks from the Theme Panel

Hi,

Please is there a way out to link the social network from Theme Panel to our social media page. I configure from the Theme Panel but it rather displaying my site link instead(www.aold.org). I have created a social page for our site but i am unable to link to it.

Please, how do i go about it.

Hi,

It should work any link that you add to the social network areas, just add the full url:

http://www.aold.org/

Let me know how it goes and also provide your site url so I can inspect this.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, link is http://www.adola.org. The link to the social media was working, it was only showing the url to my main website even if i link direct to social page.

And how should it be embedded, steps or procedures will help resolve this challenge. My website url is http://www.adola.org.

Hi,

You have to add your links in Theme Panel > Social Networks – http://screencast.com/t/UZj5G3ITS – http://screencast.com/t/i5sjHr70k2j also please clear cache maybe it is a caching issue.
I have checked your site and you don’t have any links added there, only # – used also on our demo to appear social icons – http://screencast.com/t/NlJDFoGRRmx
If you still have issues with this, pleas also check if your panel settings are saved. Try to change something for category page or enable/disable some setting and see if it works.
