Unable to select and save Author Template under Theme panel

I cannot save author template for my writers.

Under Theme Panel, I select the template I want to use for the writer and save the settings. I purge cache and refresh, no changes at all. Please help

Hi,

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin that is in conflict with our theme and is blocking the settings from saving from theme panel, please try only with theme plugins without extra plugins or cache plugins.
If the problem persists, please verify the console for error while saving the settings on the Theme Panel, usually it displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module which blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
