My site map was spoiled after recent migration to newspaper theme. Hence, created New site map using Yoast tools.
http://fitlogy.com/sitemap_index.xml
When I try to submit the site map in google search console it says
” Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead. ”
Can any one guide me ? It used to work fine in my previous theme..

After enabled sitemap on the WP dashboard you clear all cache?

Another tip:
– resave your permalinks and after clear all cache.
If not work, disable your minification!
