Unable to upload images to Newspaper

I’ve tried several different clean images of various sizes to upload to the Newspaper site, and none of them are loading. I’m running a pretty clean site with minimal plugins. I’ve not had this issue come up before, so it’s something with the theme.
Please let me know if there’s a fix to this.
I get two types off errors, either a time out error on a 2mb image, or I get an error during crunching.
I’ve uploaded the image, and I get an error when it’s crunching. But when I manually load the image, and then dowload it, to see if the image is corrupt, it’s fine.

Hi,

So I understand that you are not able to upload images to the media library. Please check the theme system status and make modifications to the mentioned parameters if necessary, according to this guide

Thank you for the instructions.
I had to create the php.ini file.
Afterward, I did a test of uploading an image file, and it did so with no issues.
