It gives a 404 but why, it’s displaying correctly on the home page:

You have your posts inside folder/category:
https://www.nova.ie/latest_news/mumford-sons-longitude-weekend-marlay/
If you don’t want the category as part of slug, you’d need to use a custom function to strip that out.

But why doesn’t it come up as uncategorised if no category is selected?
