Hi there: When I try to share a post i’ve created to any social media accounts by clicking on the social icon above my post the post is sharing with default text in front of the text in the post.
For example, I created a test post in my News category that said ‘test post this is a test’ and here is what i see on FB when it is shared: “CategoriesNews test post March 16, 2017 O Share on Facebook Tweet on Twitter Want create site? Find Free WordPress Themes and plugins test post this is a test Did you find APK for Android? You can find new Free Android Games and apps. SHARE Facebook Twitter tweet Previous article”
I hired a guy to create my website and he can’t figure this out. Can anyone help please?
First: try to disable all the plugins except Visual composer, clear the cache and check again.
To change the Titles can (for example) the Yoast Seo plugin. Check its settings if the plugin you have installed.
You can also look at your actual open graph meta in your posts by learning to use ‘view source’ in web browser to SEE what is actually there, then make adjustments as needed using Yoast SEO or similar to control the OG data.
