For me, the solution to this problem was to downgrade the theme to the pre-latest version. Good thing I have a backup for the site.

Yes, you’re facing the same issue. The quickest solution is to perform a restore. It seems the fix will take a while considering it’s the weekend, and the closest update fix is scheduled for February 12th. That’s if they manage to address it promptly.

You should perform a backup restore from the previous day through your hosting provider. Try asking your hosting provider’s customer service for instructions on how to do this.
Attempting to revert to a previous version will be impossible because the website won’t be accessible at all, even to the dashboard menu.

There was made a mix for the mentioned problem in this topic.
For users that wants to make the theme update and before have problems now will be ok.
Also, if you still have problems, please contact us via email and we’ll check it.
For users that already have the newspaper v12.6.4 all that needs to do is to disable the tagDiv Composer, delete it and reinstall the plugin from Newspaper > plugins.
