Hello,

can I update the theme by replacing only the files that have been changed or I need to do a full update?
And if yes do all files keep the same directories?

Hi,

This depends on the version of theme you are updating from. On every release we include a patch with the modified files in their proper folder structure: http://screencast.com/t/T7dsuRl0x

Hi,

for example the update you just released today with the fix. How can I update it so I don’t loose all custom modifications with full update.

I have 7 version now. Do I have to replace every file from folder patch_7.0_7.0.1 (includes, js, functions.php, style.css) on main site directory, or I need to do a full update?

Hi,
In order to update your theme without replacing all files, please only replace the files in this list: http://tagdiv.com/td_deploy/Newspaper/changed_files_7.0_7.0.1.html
There is an update patch with these files in their proper folder structure inside the main archive.

But version remains the same – 7.0

Hi,
Please make sure you copy all the files in your patch. I just tested it again and it works as expected. Copy over all the files and replace the destination files and then make sure you clear any cache from plugins, cdn or hosting
