Update from 4.5 to 4.6.1

Hello,

I want to update my theme Newspaper from 4.5 to 4.6.1. How can i do that without changing in CSS? i just want to update files.

Hi,

You have modified the style.css?
What you can do is to replace all files via FTP but without style.css if yours is modified and then compare your style.css with latest from theme to see what differences are. You can use WinMerge for that.

If you have custom CSS in Theme panel -> Custom CSS section, that will be fine on each update.

Thanks for your reply. Yes i modified style.css and other css files to best fit for my work. So expect css files can i replace all the files?

Hi,
Yes, replace all files, but you should check the style.css to make the comparison with your version to see differences.
