Hi TagDiv,
Can an theme Newspaper version 4 being upgraded to Newspaper 8?
Or are there any extra steps to be taken care of?

Hello,
In upgrading from such an old version of the theme we simply recommend deleting the old theme and installing the new one as the code has been changed entirely since then. It will be like switching to a whole new theme. Your pages and widgets will have to be re-created. Some elements have been redesigned some removed and a lot added in the current version.
