I have installed a second install of Newspaper theme. I guess I begun in the wrong end as I just duplicated my first site thinking I’d fix the licence after configuration. Now I have purchased a second licence, removed the old from “/wp-content/themes/Newspaper” and installed new theme from Zip with second licence. But I’m still unable to use theme panel.
How can I update licence info to get the theme working again without loosing the config/settings from the site I duplicated at first?
Export your settings from site 1 and use on site 2. QED.
That’s what I did… but site 2 won’t let me touch anything in Theme panel.

Please first try to get WordPress to work properly. Make a fresh install of wp and activate one of the free themes and test it out a bit to be sure it’s running properly. Then, after everything works, activate the theme and import your settings.
