Update revolution slider

Hi there,

just a quick question.

If I want to update revolution slider, what I have to do is just deleting the previous version and install the new one?

Will my previously made slides be deleted?

Hello,

You can simply disable the plugin from the plugins section and also press the del;ete files button and then install the new version like so: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-install-revolution-slider-v5/

Hi Bogdan!
After I’m deactivate and delete old version Revolution slider and upload new version Revolution Slider from folder “Plugin” (Newspaper-tf) I’m have now next message: “Activate Slider Revolution for Premium Benefits. You can Enter an existing licence key or Purchase a licence key.” And now I can’t activate this plugin. How I can fixed this problem?

Hello,
Unfortunately this message was added by the plugin authors in the latest version but disregarded free versions like the one we provide. The message can be ignored as the free version cannot be activated. You can use it like before without activation.
