Hello, Is it possible to update theme directly from WordPress, without downloading again from Themeforest? I was using a browser extension to store passwords and lost all the passwords and not able to access Themeforest. I am not able access my Email account which i used to create account on themeforest.
So I was wondering if I can update theme directly from WordPress? I have also purchased Easy Social sharing button which has a feature to update plugin directly from WordPress.
Please help to update theme. I have purchased this theme few years ago. my site is also listed in your showcase.

You likely want to contact ThemeForest to get your account login and password reset so you can re-download current versions, which you’d need to do even if using the Envato toolkit which requires you to login to your account. Probably sending Envato your license code they’d be able to update your account for you.

You can’t update theme directly from WordPress as it’s not hosted on the WordPress servers, but on Themeforest, so it has to be updated via the ThemeForest server — or via FTP when you download it.
I know it, but Easy Social Sharing plugin is also hosted on Envato Market. But After you activate plugin with Purchase code it is possible to update plugin directly from WordPress. It get updated like any other normal plugin. SO I was wondering if something similar is possible or will be possible in future?

The theme can have an automatic update but only through the envato plugin. Premium themes cannot be updated through wordpress as plugins can.

You do not need to purchase the theme again if you still have access to your envato account and can download the theme again at any time. You can update the theme through wordpress or ftp without using the toolkit and without another purchase.
