I have installed Envato Market etc etc. It does say there is a them update but the link never works

yeah. That plugin kind of sucks.
FTP is better way to consistently update theme without breaking, and also allows you to make a safety backup at same time!

Still waiting on Recaptcha for the Join/Login Modal I just cant believe this them does not have recaptcha functions

I think you can use Akismet with the theme login, but don’t quote me on that 😉
