Dear tagdiv team,
i downloaded and installed the latest version of the Newspaper theme. However, the upload of the .zip file ended just in an automatic download of a .php file, but does not end in a new installed Newspaper theme.
Please kindly advice on how to install the Update. Do I have to integrate the .php file somewhere?

thanks for the advise. But the guide does not help to solve this issue. I followed exactly the steps mentioned in the guide. However, the upload process of the zip file does only end with an automatically triggered download of a php file and not in the notification “successfully installed”. Therefore I’m not able to activate and use the theme. The last update before this was successfully installed without any problems.
Please kindly provide a solution.

It is mandatory to delete all what was left from the older version before intalling this update. Overwriting the files would cause a lot of problems. If you are certain that you have installed the updates correctly by deleting all of the older versions and made a clean install from scratch please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

thanks for your reply. I’am not sure wether I did delete all of the old version. I just installed a free theme, activated it and pressed “delete” newspaper theme. Then I downloaded the new version of the newspaper theme, which failed.
Please kindly provide information on how to delete all what is left of the old version.
