The most recent update wiped out my website preferences and settings, as if Newspaper went back to default and all customization vanished. The pages, posts, headers and footers were still there, but everything went to default settings and the layout on all of the pages turned to code rather than working in Tag-Div, though the plugins were activated. Other things, like logos and all sidebars, vanished completely. Gone. Still trying to get the backup loaded to restore the website. It’s been an all day project and I don’t know if I will be successful yet. Still waiting to see if I can get the backup to load and if that will take care of the issue. If so, I don’t want to install that update again. Suggestions?
Same thing happened to me. Reverting to previous version of Newspaper did not return the customisation. Have tried rebuilding the customisation in version 11 using the tagDiv Composer (because the style options eg. for top bar, no longer show in the Theme Panel options) but none of the tagDiv Composer editing changes will save. It just loops indefinitely. I’m stuck. What should I try now?

If your settings are missing, then please make sure you have Standard pack plugin installed and active and try to restore a backup from Theme panel -> Import/Export and please do not press “Reset”.
Try to do these steps:
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)

All of the customized sidebars are gone as well.
I tried to deactivate, uninstall, and reinstall Tag-Div Composer, clearing the cache after the uninstall and after reactivating. That did not restore settings, API configurations, or the data loss. All of the customization and sidebars on my website are gone. Vanished. I imported a backup, but that did not fix the problem.
OK. So I did not have the optional “Standard Pack” plugin installed or activated. By simply adding this EVERYTHING recovered. All my previous customisation returned and the old options to customise from theme panel came back. Thank you!

I just lost all theme panel settings while working on the site including fonts settings, cloud templates assignments, all sidebars are gone. Custom css is still there, but nothing that was customized in the theme panel is. Everything got reset somehow.
Also all Saved shortcodes in the tagdiv composer are gone.
I tried importing all the theme settings backups, but none restored them. Also removed and reinstalled TagDiv Standard Pack and TD Composer.
Many months of work gone.
Of course it’s the night before the site launch.

If you tried to restore a backup from Theme panel -> Import/Export and press “Reset”, then this is the effect there. If you have a full backup, then you can replace with that.
