I saw the video of tagdiv about updating via wordpress (deactivating and then deleting the old theme, and uploading and activating the new one) and i was wondering if my theme customizations are lost or not, cuz i have customized it a lot in various aspects (not touching any code)? Will my page be the very same after updating the theme, including all settings that i now have?
Hello fabiocimo,
You should make this update without any problem. All your customization are recorded in the database which are not affected by this update. You should do a backup if you want to do updates the theme from version 4.X to 6.X. In that case, all the code will be overwritten and you will lose all changes.
