Hello, this is my first post! Sorry for my rusty english.
I’ve just purchased the last version (12) of Newspaper theme for WordPress for the site of a client, who uses the 7th.
After the activation, i got a problem of visualization, as you can see in the attached pic. The browser responses with the code of the page.
After the uploading via ftp, I went on apparence -> themes and I’ve activated the new version. There was a required plugin update. After this, i purged all the caches of the site… and I saw this:
Now, I downgraded to v7 but I have some critical errors in my backend.

You do not need to downgrade the theme. We recommend you to have all the tagdiv plugins installed and activate, also up to date in order to have access to the new features and fixes.

A code in your frontend is appearing only when you have a plugin uninstalled when it should be installed, so instead of the code, it will display the element from that plugin.
Check in the Newspaper -> Plugins.

…absolutely perfect! All the plugin started to work after the updating of the php.ini configuration. Now it works very well… only 2 of the 6 pomofocus sessions extimated š
And the documentation is really well done.
