Hello,
I upgraded to Newspaper 9.8, the latest version. I notice that all my customisations to font, line-height, spacing, etc has completely vanished and it is replaced by something I did not select. This happens both on the home page and individual articles/blog posts. I have used a cloud template for individual posts. I tried to redo the fonts, styling, etc, but it is not working.

It is mandatory to delete all what was left from the older version before intalling this update. Overwriting the files would cause a lot of problems and maybe you’ve missed something while deleting the old files. Please check the plugins to be deleted too ?

The thing is I didn’t delete any file. I simply used the Update Theme option from the Envato section in the WordPress Dashboard. It upgraded fine but it is causing this problem. Please help me fix it. The site is looking ugly.

Yes, that could be the problem

That will take a lot of time and I think I’ll have to redo the entire site! I have more than 200 articles, videos, and other content. Will it be deleted if I reinstall the Newspaper theme again.
Is there a shorter fix?

Reinstalling the Newspaper Theme would not affect your database. So you can simply uninstall and disable / delete the Newspaper theme and TagDiv Plugins. Your modifications will not be afected.
